Six-line divination vs. tarot and BaZi

Six-line divination, tarot, and BaZi can all support reflection, but they fit different questions. Choosing the right tool matters more than asking repeatedly.

Six-line divination fits concrete events

Six-line readings usually begin with one concrete question and are useful for the current situation, obstacles, direction, and next action. Questions like “Should I accept this offer?” fit better than broad lifetime questions.

Tarot is image-based; BaZi is structural

Tarot uses images and spreads to reflect mental states, relationship dynamics, and subconscious cues. BaZi is based on birth data and tends toward long-term temperament, timing, and life structure, not repeated readings for one small issue.

Choose by question, not by replacement

For a near-term decision, six-line divination often turns into action more easily; for emotions and inner narrative, tarot may feel more direct; for long-term tendencies, BaZi is closer. None of them replaces medical, legal, financial, or other professional judgement.
