Four Pillars and the Day Master

BaZi has year, month, day, and hour pillars. The day pillar’s stem is the “Day Master” — you — and every other character is read in relation to it.

Strength and the Use God

The five elements in a chart are unevenly weighted. Strong charts favor draining/controlling elements; weak ones favor support. The balancing element is the “Use God” — whether the current luck cycle feeds it decides the tone of each decade.
